Today, though the economy’s still not great, we’re all breathing a little easier, spending a bit more, and are back out at restaurants. Not to say that there’s no longer a need for budget-friendly recipes. I still cook at home most nights and strive to create the same fabulous dishes that I shared with you all on The Recession Cookbook. But I’m ready to move on from the negative associations of the recession and move towards something new and exciting.
Beyond great recipes, this blog delves a bit more into my philosophy of “living life around the table.” I love the idea of making the table (rather than the TV!) the center of the home, as a place to tell stories, exchange ideas, laugh, and build relationships. Food is the connector, but the table is where the magic happens.
In addition, there will be a great “how-to” section that
will teach you useful cooking techniques like how to roast a whole fish, or how
to make your own vinaigrettes. And tasty
tidbits from my travels–photos, recipes, and insider tips on where to stay and
eat.
Bye, bye Recession
Cookbook…it’s been an amazing journey.
Hello Yellow Table…let the
dinner party begin!

Hey Anna, I'm glad to see the blog is back in action! I hope all is well in N.Y.!
